Recent data show that Europe remains the dominant destination for U.S. students studying abroad, and Canadian students are increasingly studying in Europe. Primary drivers for increased higher education mobility include relative affordability, English-taught programs, and career opportunities.

There is much to explore in the region for higher education opportunities and among various universities. The Study in Europe Initiative of the European Union aims to showcase what higher education in Europe has to offer to students worldwide, provide information about organizing and funding study and research periods abroad in Europe, and to help European higher education organizations connect with potential students and partner organizations. It promotes higher education in Erasmus+ program countries and is being implemented by a consortium involving national agencies: Academic Cooperation Association (ACA), Estonian Education and Youth Board (Harno), Campus France, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Czech National Agency for International Education and Research (DZS), and Nuffic – the Dutch organization for internationalization in education.

The IIENetwork, Study in Europe Initiative, and outreach leads Nuffic are collaborating to help educators and administrators, students, and families understand best options and strategies for exploring the various opportunities to study in Europe. Join this IIENetwork Engagement Series webinar as European representatives will share insights to:

  • Understand the Study in Europe Initiative and available resources

  • Inform of essential steps to prepare for studying in Europe – from beginner to advanced planning

BONUS: IIE will give one complimentary copy of A Family Guide to Study Abroad to a randomly selected student or family member who attends this webinar.

This webinar is sponsored by Study in Europe.
