The AIFS Foundation and IIE are excited to announce A Family Guide to Study Abroad, a refreshed publication to educate and empower families to become active supporters of study abroad. In education abroad today, practitioners connect with as many parents and families as we do with participants, and success with these engagements is important for our programs. Kelly Holland, Vice President of Strategic Communications, AIFS Abroad, and Lindsay Gee Calvert, Director of the IIENetwork and IIE Center for Access and Equity, will lead an interactive discussion on common challenges encountered when communicating with families and how A Family Guide to Study Abroad can be utilized to address them, as well as overall serving as an encouraging tool for broader student support.
