This webinar will introduce Transatlantic Mobility in Higher Education and Research: A Cornerstone of Transatlantic Relations, a joint report by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Institute of International Education (IIE). The report examines key trends in transatlantic academic mobility and underscores the vital role of exchange programs in strengthening economic, cultural, diplomatic and social ties between the United States and Europe. 

Panelists will present highlights from the report and key findings on high-talent mobility, partnerships in applied sciences, and research-driven innovation, along with the growing impact of internships and industry engagement in shaping transatlantic relations. The webinar will emphasize the urgent need to sustain and expand these programs to ensure continued transatlantic cooperation in an era of global transformation.
