This IIENetwork Research Roundtable highlights the joint IC3 and IIE study, ‘Meeting Demand in the STEM Field: Current International Student Trends at U.S. Higher Education Institutions’, which explored the context of a changing future of work that emphasizes students’ need to develop skills in STEM fields. International education research experts and higher education institutions will discuss the report findings and highlight how U.S. higher education institutions are affected by changes in the demand for STEM programs. Speakers will examine institutional recruitment efforts and explore how these shifts influence institutional capacity building to address interest in STEM fields.
